Stunning location but needs TLC

The breathtaking views of Emerald Lake from our room were unforgettable. Relaxing by the fireplace with a glass of wine was pure bliss.

Big hype, little substance

While the views at this retreat are indeed breathtaking, the experience fell a bit short. Service was hit or miss, and the scramble to find dining options due to unexpected closures was frustrating. Don't overlook the rustic charm, but expect some hiccups along the way.

Our group had an amazing time exploring the stunning surroundings! We loved canoeing on the lake and visiting the impressive Yoho National Park. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. For future guests, be prepared for some walking to the lodge from your cabin, but it's worth it for the experience.

Emerald Lake Lodge captivated me with its amazing scenery and charming ambiance. Although the shuttle process can be a bit tricky at times, the tranquil setting and cozy fireplace made it a perfect romantic getaway. Enjoyed hiking trails and the lovely dining experience.

Cozy stay with great service

We spent 2 nights here, and the staff was super friendly! Our room had this nice fireplace, perfect for cozy evenings. My husband got sick, and the front desk was so quick to help us with a thermometer and ginger ale. On the flip side, the shower curtain was kinda gross and the food was just alright, kinda of a letdown for what we expected.

The serene ambiance was a welcome retreat. Sitting on the balcony with a view of the tranquil lake was breathtaking. Canoeing was a highlight, enhancing the peaceful experience amid stunning nature. The staff was incredibly friendly and efficient, making every interaction delightful, while the juicy steaks at the restaurant exceeded expectations. However, car parking being off-site was inconvenient, and the lack of WiFi or TV might not suit everyone. A hint of chill in the evening lake swim may also surprise some.
